wasn’t easy. The topics were totally different from what I studied in college. Learning about ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes was challenging, and there were moments when I doubted myself. But I didn’t give up. I was determined to build a better future for myself. With time, things started to make sense. I gained confidence in my skills, and eventually, I was able to clear the CPC (Certified Professional Coder) exam. That was a huge turning point in my life. Soon after, I landed an entry-level job as a Medical Coder at a healthcare facility. Finally, I had a stable job with a fixed salary, growth opportunities, and a work-life balance I never had before. I could leave behind all the stressful part-time jobs and focus completely on my career. I owe a big thank you to Sushma ma’am. Even though she wasn’t my regular tutor, her CPC training played a huge role in our success. Before her sessions, I didn’t have an in-depth understanding of ICD and CPT coding. But after her training, I felt confident and prepared. Thanks to her, I was able to clear the CPC exam in just one month! A heartfelt thanks to Sr. Sumi and the FIDES team as well. Their support throughout the journey meant a lot. Looking back, I’m proud of how far I’ve come. My struggles taught me resilience, and medical coding gave me a second chance at building a meaningful and rewarding career. If I could do it, so can you. All it takes is the right opportunity, commitment, and a willingness to learn.
