On Saturday, 26 September 2026, a meaningful and spiritually enriching Youth Retreat was organized at FIDES. The retreat provided the participants with an opportunity to step away from their daily routines, spend time in prayer and reflection, strengthen their faith, and experience fellowship with one another.

The programme began with participant registration, followed by a warm welcome and introduction. The participants were briefed about the purpose and flow of the retreat, creating an atmosphere of joy, openness and participation. The retreat began with Holy Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Dileep, SDB, Parish Priest of Lourdes Nagar. His celebration and reflection helped the participants prepare their hearts and minds for the retreat and encouraged them to remain open to God’s presence and guidance.

Following the Holy Mass, the participants took part in ice-breaking and games activities. These activities created a joyful atmosphere and helped everyone interact freely, build friendships and feel comfortable within the group. The retreat continued with meaningful and interactive sessions that encouraged the participants to pause, reflect on their lives, deepen their relationship with God, and discover the importance of prayer, faith and personal renewal. The sessions provided opportunities for listening, reflection and sharing.

Throughout the day, coffee, lunch and tea breaks were arranged, giving participants time to relax, refresh themselves and interact informally with one another. These moments of fellowship added warmth and joy to the retreat experience.

As the programme came to a close, the participants gathered for a concluding moment of gratitude and reflection. A return gift was presented to each participant as a small token of appreciation and a reminder of the meaningful experience shared during the retreat.

The retreat concluded on a joyful and grateful note, with participants returning home carrying renewed enthusiasm, spiritual strength, meaningful memories and a deeper sense of fellowship.
