On 26th October 2025, FIDES organized a special cultural and lunch program for the children from our tuition centres. The day became even more memorable with the presence of our chief guest, Mr. Chankey Rajkhowa, along with his dedicated team members — Mr. Anirban, Mr. Uday, Mr. Girish, Mr. Purshoth, and Mr. Animesh. Their gracious presence added great meaning and joy to the celebration.

The program began with a prayer song and a welcome address to greet the gathering. This was followed by an enlightening session on the Rights of the Child (CRC) conducted by Sr. Jacinta, who helped the children understand their rights and responsibilities. After the session, the children enjoyed a short refreshment break with hot badam milk and biscuits.

Next, Mr. Benedict Roy led an informative session on the Neighborhood Children’s Parliament (NCP). He explained its purpose, structure, and significance, encouraging the children to actively participate and implement NCP activities in their respective centres.

The second part of the event featured a cultural program, where the children showcased their talents through group and solo dance performances and songs. Their enthusiasm and confidence filled the atmosphere with excitement and cheer.

We then once again extended a warm welcome to our guests and expressed heartfelt gratitude for their generosity and constant support. The highlight of the day was the lunch, sponsored by our benefactors and eagerly waited by everyone. They graciously served food to each child and joined them for the meal, creating a heartwarming moment of togetherness. The delicious meal, lovingly prepared by the FIDES team, was enjoyed by all.

After lunch, the program continued with a fashion show and mime performance, where the children confidently took the stage, expressing their creativity and self-confidence through their acts.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by the distribution of school bags, stationery, and refreshments to each child as a token of love and encouragement. The day ended with smiles on every child’s face, leaving behind beautiful memories of happiness, unity, and gratitude.
