On 20th December 2025, FIDES joyfully celebrated Christmas with migrant children and the elderly. It was a wonderful occasion that brought everyone together in the true spirit of love, sharing, and togetherness.

The programme began with a warm welcome to the gathering and our esteemed guests. We were happy to have with us our dear Sisters, generous benefactors, staff members, migrant children, and elderly participants. This was followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp and a prayer song. The respected guests and Sisters were invited to light the lamp as a symbol of peace, hope, and new beginnings. Miss Varsha then delivered the welcome address. The programme continued with vibrant cultural performances by our migrant children from different communities. Their performances were colourful, lively, and brought great joy to everyone present.

Mr. Anushman our guest from Hour Glass Company addressed the gathering and shared a few encouraging words. We sincerely thanked him for his inspiring message and generous support. This was followed by another graceful dance performance by our migrant children.

Sr. Sherly, our Superior, then shared a meaningful Christmas message, reminding everyone of the importance of love, compassion, and sharing during the season. The programme paused for a lunch break, during which everyone shared a meal together. This moment of serving and sharing truly reflected the spirit of Christmas.

After lunch, Christmas gifts were distributed to the elderly and the children, bringing smiles and happiness to all. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and a photo session.

No Christmas celebration is complete without Santa Claus! The event ended on a joyful note with music and dance along with Santa, where the children had a wonderful time filled with laughter and excitement. Indeed, it was a memorable and joyful celebration, marking a truly special time of the year for everyone present.
